We came to Orlando because there was a great price on the car we wanted to lease. I have a 750+ credit score and zero debt. GMC financial kept asking for more and more money down. We didn't get to talk to anyone at GM financial, so the dearlership kept coming back and saying we needed more. We started with $4k down, and they wouldn't let us leave with it until we put $12k down. This is just very odd. Everything else about the initial purchase was strange. We sent the app in at 10am, and they didn't even talk to GM financial until 6pm when we arrived (we drove from Ocala to Orlando). That made for a very late night out with a 4-month-old baby... which is why we sent our app in at 10am. But that was ignored. Everything else about the initial purchase was fine. The car was as described, it was clean, the price that was quoted over the phone was what was charged. It's just that nothing was prepared. Also, we came back the next weekend to have resist-all (sp?) put onto the seats and car exterior. The salesman told us that they would have a loaner car lined up for us so that we could go Christmas shopping. He made it seem like it would be a breeze, and keep in mind that this was an additional sale for him - it's not like we begged them to add this feature - they tried very hard to sell it to us. Well, nothing was ready for us. Long story short, it took them an hour to get a loaner car ready, and then they came out with the smallest possible car - a Buick Encore I believe. Keep in mind we just leased a Denali Yukon XL... probably the largest car on the lot? We couldn't even fit our carseat in there. And when my husband asked the service rep if there was anything bigger, he said no there wasn't. That rep also asked my husband to sign a paper saying there was no damage on the car before my husband ever saw it. When my husband was surprised at this and asked to see the car before signing, the rep rolled his eyes and made a fuss about it. Anyways, after this ordeal, my husband went inside and asked one of the sales reps if there was a bigger car because we couldn't even fit the car seat in it, let alone go shopping like we discussed when we leased the car. Lo and behold, he came back with a bigger car. So the service rep flat out lied to us. All of this has left a very bad taste in our mouths about your dealership. Yes, we love our car and that's the most important thing, but for spending as much money as we did, the service was horrible. I would expect at least reasonable service after the sale. This was the opposite. The sale is what gets people in the door, the service is what gets people to come back. My husband needs a new truck, but after this experience, I'm not sure he'll go here. And I'm not sure if I'll renew my lease when this one ends. Hope this feedback helps.
