Above and beyond. Those are the words I would use to describe the sales team, particularly Roger Menn. I called ahead and was told that the dealership had two vehicles that fit my search criteria. When I arrived, Roger met me at the door and showed me a comfortable waiting area while he quickly prepared those vehicles for my viewing. He was extremely knowledgeable - quick to point out the differences and advantages between the two vehicles. He asked questions to help me asses which one would best fit my family's needs and pointed out the individual features that would make us comfortable in the vehicle. His outgoing, friendly personality was refreshing, and he and his trainee were extremely respectful (which is especially important to me as a woman who appears young for her age). The no-negotiation process was different (particularly for family accompanying me who was use to haggling over price), but a welcomed experience. They presented their position on price kindly and matter-of-factly. They were remarkably generous with my trade-in appraisal and made a few concessions that added additional value to the transaction. It was easy, fast and I do in fact feel like we received a fair deal for an exceptional vehicle. The service team helped transfer car seats from my old vehicle to the new, and Oscar (from sales) was sure that Onstar was configured before I left the lot. The only reason I am not leaving 5 stars is that I was met with some gruffness by the receptionist who clearly disapproved of my pressing to speak with someone (vs. voicemail) at one point when I called the dealership. And the service team did not do a 5 star job on detailing my vehicle the first time. I have no doubt they will do an outstanding job the second time around though. Bottom line, this was a smooth car buying experience, and I am very pleased with my purchase. I look forward to returning for service and to developing a long standing business relationship with both Roger and Orange Buick GMC.
