Jay Lafferty was our car salesman, he was very helpful, courteous and professional. The dealership experience was good. However, the experience dragged on and on because we kept having to return to the dealer to sign papers that weren't signed at the close of the deal. Three weeks ago we purchased our truck and they are still calling us to return to sign papers. At least 3 times. We live in the Clermont area. Tolls and gas are not cheap. This is an update of the frustrations of having to return to the dealer to sign papers. It turned out that an angel was sent to us by the name of Ms. Amber Rivas, Orange Buick GMC's Title Clerk. My husband and I are from out of state. Even though my husband had a handicapped license from the state we're from, we were told that Florida required a letter from his Physician stating that he is handicapped. We had our doctor send this letter, so we thought everything was taken care of.Then we received a call from Ms. Rivas stating that yet another form had to be filled out for the DMV, and signed by our doctor. We couldn't believe that with the frustrations of having to return to the dealer three times to sign papers, that this was another portion of closing the deal that wasn't completed..But Ms. Rivas took care of everything. First, she apologized to us for all inconveniences. She communicated with our doctors office (out of state) and received the document required by Florida's DMV.She went to the DMV "twice." She FedX'd all documents to us including our license. And she called us continually keeping us on top of everything that was going on. Ms. Rivas was outstanding! Because my husband is handicapped, she saved us a lot of grief by going to the DMV.The four stars are for our overall experience at Orange Buick GMC. But Ms. Rivas deserves five stars all by herself. *****Thank You Ms. Amber Rivas, May the Lord Bless You!!
