Orange Buick GMC Review By Cynthia Mock

My story is certainly not the norm I'm sure. I purchased a black 2016 Terrain SLT in July, 2020, and just loved it........except for the paint. After getting the car home I realized how bad the condition of the paint was. I returned and the dealership looked and agreed and compounded the surface. It wasn't perfect but it was much better. Then after about 6-weeks I saw what I thought was dust, but after close examination when I couldn't wipe it off, discovered the paint was literally chipping off the sides. I called the dealership distraught over this (it was my first "new" car in 14 years), hoping they would do something to help, but not believing anything significant would happen.Well........was I wrong! My sales person was Marissa Thompson and she is an absolute joy to work with. She had the manager, Jason Pike, look at it and he and I discussed what was going on. He had the body shop look at it, and I believe he contacted GMC corporate. What happened next is something I'm still trying to believe happened. He offered several options -- all that would cost me nothing additional out of pocket. Let me tell you, being a retired school teacher, this meant the world to me because my budget is pretty tight. I opted to lease a new 2020 Terrain SLT and am in love with it..........even more than the first one.Marissa Thompson and Jason Pike didn't just meet my expectations -- they exceeded them at every turn. I am so impressed with this dealership, and especially Marissa and Jason, that there really aren't adequate words to describe how grateful I am. Of all the dealerships, sales people, and managers in the world I could have dealt with, I was blessed to have had the experience I did at Orange Buick GMC. You have me as a customer for life, and I tell my story to anyone who will listen.Marissa Thompson is the consummate sales person with her friendliness, knowledge, honesty and patience. Jason Pike is what every manager should be, in that he truly cares about people, is willing to listen, and then wastes no time finding a solution.
